Hey! I'm Ares.
I'm a 21 year old, black/native, and nonbinary artist! I mainly draw in digital with b/w but I enjoy drawing in color too.I have a habit of drawing over-detailed glossy hair, listless eyes, and dainty features, regardless of their gender identity.
I find inspiration from Junji Ito, Takato Yamamoto, Shinichi Sakamoto, and others in the darker art scene. Some brighter and lively artists I like are jellyflavor, heikala_art, and Aya Takano.

the things i won't draw.
Nothing against most of them or you if you like it, I just won't do it. I'm sure there's other artists that'll comply though.

I will not draw real people "genderbent," nor people of color (real or fake) as lighter than themselves, or whitewashed.It's extremely disrespectful and I will block you if this is requested.

furry.
I don't mind human hybrids and real animals (I'll draw it), but I will not/cannot draw fursuits, anthropomorphic creatures, sexualized animal characters, or the like.
extreme nsfw.
- I love horror, but I cannot draw anything too violent and can be considered pure gore.
- I can draw nudity just anything below the belt will be conveniently censored. I won't draw actual sex or detailed genitalia. I don't mind it though! I just rather you find a better artist for the job.

mecha.
I can do minimal mecha/armor, but I don't specialize in this at all. I rather not let you down. So depending on what you request, I could possibly waive this blacklist.

I will not draw hateful people (transphobic, racist, misogynist, etc), draw sexualized minors, or draw anything of pedophilic or incestuous nature. I don't want to be uncomfortable and I also don't want my followers to be either.If you request something that falls into any of these criteria, I will block you!

If you would like your commission printed please contact me directly. Prices range from $12-18! (shipping included) It's your choice of cardstock with an option of shimmer, metallic, or holographic. I use Catprint!
freebies!
- Small pops of color are okay in a b+w piece. (ex: make-up, clothing/accessory details, etc)I do not charge for simple backgrounds and photo collages for black + white portraits!- If you would like photos for the background, it's no cost! Just clear it with the creator (if you can), so it's fine with both parties and I can credit it.- Stickers will be sent with every print ordered! (MAX 3) It's nothing crazy, but it's a small thanks from me to you.

Do not use anything I post for commercial use. Whether it be as an icon, banner, or whatever else without my knowledge and permission. There will be pieces that I upload where I don't care if people use it for personal reasons, but unless that's explicitly said in the tweet, DON'T use it! If you would like something specifically for you, just commission me. I FORBID ANY OF MY WORKS FROM PERSONAL TO COMMISSION FROM EVER BEING USED FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO NFT AND BEYOND.
You will respect me, as I will to you, when I decline a commission for any reason. Whether it be from the piece you're requesting makes me uncomfortable, if I simply don't think I'm up for the task, or if I'm just too busy. In situations such as these, I'm open to referring you to someone else that can do what you want (if I know a person)! I don't wanna make you feel like this was an effort wasted.

I will not draw anything for free or "for exposure." I don't care who you are, the level of your platform, or what you look like. This is my job and only source of income, so what I'm paid is what I live off of. I will not be given "exposure" as a form of payment in any setting.

If there's a deadline, please let me know! It takes me a week or more to finish a portrait (depending on details, it's up to 3 weeks max) and if I'm suddenly told I need to hurry up without warning it ruins the quality of the piece.
